Shifts between 7:40AM-5PM Monday-Thursday, & 7:40AM-3PM Friday. 1-2 shifts required (if offered) per month as per PRN Agreement.
Salary: Starting at $23 per hour. Language skills and experience taken into consideration.

Job Summary: Our Medical Services Program is an Outpatient setting providing Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder services. It utilizes the skills of compassionate professionals to ensure the development of happy and healthy lives for our Clients.
We are looking to provide a flexible, as‑needed opportunity for compassionately skilled Medical Assistants motivated to broaden their experience while working alongside some of the most experienced Providers in Collier County.
Key Responsibilities- Audit client charts to assist nurses and providers.
- Obtain relevant and precise information to ensure an accurate chart is maintained.
- Assist with staff PPD tests and patient assistance program.
- Work with entire medical services team to support other positions within the program.
- Provide direct care to clients including taking vital signs.
- Display energy, empathy, and efficiency regarding client care.
- Address concerns of on‑site and call‑in clients.
- Update treatment plans.
- Communicate with schools, families, and outside providers.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation (paper and electronic medical records).
- Collaborate with other medical services team to assist with help line, prior authorizations, and discharges.
- Other duties as assigned by medical services supervisor.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Graduation from an accredited vocational program required.
- Current State of Florida Medical Assistant certification required.
- 1-2 years' related experience preferred but will train.
- Skills in assessment, evaluation, planning and intervention preferred.
- Ability to relate to and communicate with a diverse group of clients, colleagues, agencies, and community members required.
- Exceptional skills in organization (time and information), task prioritization, and independent problem solving required.
- Dedication to the organization's mission, standards, procedures, and protocol required.
- The ability to combine empathy, energy, and efficiency required.
- Exemplary client service skills that are focused on comprehensive care required.
- Microsoft Office 365 skills (including Teams/video conferencing) and electronic medical records experience strongly preferred.
- Staying compliant with all trainings and immunizations required.
- Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting (general information can be found HERE), drug screen, and local criminal check required.
This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
