Job SummaryWe are developing a state-of-the-art musculoskeletal (MSK) center providing comprehensive orthopedic care. As an acute care physical therapist, you will evaluate and treat a diverse range of patients, including pre- and post-operative care, and educate patients and families on rehabilitation approaches. Experience in adult inpatient orthopedic physical therapy, knowledge of surgeries and post-op guidelines, and skills in telehealth are essential. You will report to the Inpatient Rehabilitation Manager.
Responsibilities- Be a dynamic, flexible self-starter to meet the needs of a new collaboration.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop goals aligned with HSS standards.
- Exhibit professional conduct and serve as a positive role model.
- Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
- At least 3 years of experience in acute care and post-op patient settings preferred.
- Expertise in orthopedics and sports medicine rehab.
- Current FL Physical Therapy license.
- Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification from ABPTS.
- BLS certification from ARC or AHA.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
