Bachelor's degree required.

Four years of experience as an Exceptional Student Education teacher (two of which may include verified ESE cluster experience), writing individual educational plans and facilitating professional learning, an understanding of instructional design, and experience utilizing web-based data systems and spreadsheets with a variety of applications of technology required. Masters degree preferred. Proficiency in designing and delivering high-quality professional learning opportunities for teachers and instructional support staff.

Ability to plan and facilitate a professional learning group to achieve desired outcomes in working collectively to implement instructional change.

Special Notes: Position is open to current ESE Program Specialists and to those who made the 25-26 Program Specialist Pool.

Future vacancy for employment at Ave Maria Elementary School - position will not start until school year 2026/2027 (July 2026). Applicant must be eligible for Florida Certificate in Elementary Ed (K-6) and ESE (K-12).

Note - selected applicant should be willing and available to attend calendar pre-extension days to start mid-July 2026 (estimated 7/22/26).
