Middle School Math Teacher – Community School of Naples

Community School of Naples (CSN), an independent college preparatory school in Southwest Florida, is seeking a motivated and talented Middle School (grades 6‑8) Math Teacher for the 2026‑27 academic year. The position begins on August 10, 2026 and requires a full‑time commitment.

• Teach five classes per day with an average class size of 14‑16 students.
• Lead an advisory of 12‑14 students and participate in the grade team.
• Participate in cross‑curricular projects and chaperone overnight field trips (approximately once a year).
• Coach math teams and proactively communicate with students and parents.
• Adapt instruction to an evolving technology‑rich classroom environment.
• Demonstrate a strong desire to work in a collegial setting with well‑rounded faculty.

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field, or an education degree with an emphasis in secondary mathematics.
• Minimum of three years of middle‑school mathematics teaching experience (regular and accelerated levels).
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, high‑stakes environment.
• Commitment to professional growth through participation in organizations, conferences, or competitions.

• Lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Sit at a desk while working on the computer.
• Bend, twist, kneel, stoop, climb, crouch, and balance on a regular basis.
• Detect and exchange accurate information.
• Maintain close visual acuity to perform essential functions.
• Fingerprinting and background checks are required as part of CSN’s employment eligibility process.
