Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified / Board Eligible Anesthesiologists (MD/DO) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Naples, Florida. This is a hospital-based anesthesia practice supporting multiple auto–cross-credentialed facilities within the same regional health system.

This opportunity offers schedule variety, strong subspecialty support, and a high-quality clinical environment in one of Florida’s most desirable coastal markets. Coverage needs vary month to month, making this an excellent fit for anesthesiologists seeking flexible, intermittent, or semi-consistent locum work

Opportunity Snapshot

• Location: Naples, FL
• Contract Type: Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP – ongoing
• Anticipated Shifts: 10–20 shifts per month (varies by need)
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia services
• Credentialing: Auto cross-credentialed across multiple sites

• 12-hour day shifts plus 12-hour call on the same dates
• 8-hour day shifts
• 24-hour weekend call coverage

• Hospital-based anesthesia practice
• No trauma cases
• No obstetrics
• No pediatric cases at Pine Ridge
• Comprehensive Stroke Center (stroke call participation required)
• No in-house call requirement
• Case Coverage Includes:
  • General surgical cases
  • Routine Cath Lab cases (cardioversions, TEEs, pacemakers, AICDs, Watchman, cardiac ablations)
  • Stroke-related anesthesia coverage
• Cardiac Coverage:
  • CABG, valve, and thoracic cases handled by dedicated cardiac anesthesiologists
  • General anesthesiologists may support routine CV-related procedures

• Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia strongly encouraged
• TAP and ESP blocks preferred for postoperative pain control
• No labor epidurals (no OB service)

• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist
• Comfort with variable scheduling and call responsibilities
• Willingness to work across multiple cross-credentialed sites
• Stroke call participation required
