Join Our Team as an Orthodontic Assistant at Family Orthodontics of Naples! Are you passionate about helping children build healthy habits for a lifetime of beautiful smiles? We’re looking for a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Orthodontic assisting experience preferred, but we welcome experienced dental assistants and provide training.
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to excellent patient care.
- Eager to learn and grow professionally.
- A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required.
- Orthodontist Assistant state certification (including but not limited to nitrous oxide, dental radiology, EFDA or EDDA).
- CPR certification.
- Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.
- A minimum of 1‑year orthodontic assisting experience.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills – must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Customer service oriented with a pleasant demeanor at all times.
- Effective written and verbal communication with all staff and management.
- Project a capable and professional image that is reflective of company values.
- Excellent organizational skills – strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and perform job duties in a timely manner.
- PC proficiency and ability to learn new programs; preferred experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.
- Dental office environment.
- Hours may change to meet the business needs.
- Travel to offices that provide orthodontic services may be required.
- Attend and participate in all office meetings, continuing education events, and morning huddles.
- Work requires effective communication and exchange of information with patients, their parents, and staff.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and to twist, turn, bend, and stoop.
