Accounting Clerk Accounts Receivable

Reports To: Assistant Financial Controller About Vision Ace Hardware Vision Ace Hardware is a locally owned and operated chain of 16 hardware stores across Southwest Florida. Our corporate office is located in Naples, FL, where this position will be based.

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk Accounts Receivable to process customer payments, manage billing and collections, and maintain accurate customer accounts. This role supports daily accounting operations and works closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate receivables.
Key Responsibilities

• Process and post customer payments (checks and ACH)
• Apply payments, reconcile customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies
• Review A/R aging reports and perform collections follow-ups
• Prepare and send customer invoices
• Maintain customer accounts, credit information, and tax-exempt records
• Respond to customer billing inquiries and resolve issues
• Coordinate account matters with management and store teams

Qualifications

• Accounts receivable or accounting clerk experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer service and communication skills
• Basic proficiency with accounting software and Excel
