Hourly Pay Range:
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

- Hours:
Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM including rotating weekends and rotating holiday - Transition program classroom hours are day shift
- Precepted shifts are for day shift

Endeavor Edward Hospital is delighted to offer a new NICU Nurse Transition Program. Our NICU is a Level III unit with 35 beds focusing on strong family-centered care and single room setup. This program is for experienced nurses who have a desire to transition into NICU Nursing. During this program, candidates will train with a NICU nurse preceptor for 16 weeks and will have dedicated education time.
Required Education, Licensure, Skills, Certification and/or
Experience:
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing ;
If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date. - Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) within six months of start date into position
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient RN experience required
- Premium pay such as shift, on call, holiday and more based on an employee's job (For eligible positions)
