Operating Room Janitor

The Tidy Queens is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at a premier outpatient surgical center. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients and staff by following strict healthcare cleaning protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of operating rooms, pre-op/post-op areas, and restrooms

Replenish supplies and maintain cleaning logs

Follow all health and safety standards, including those specific to healthcare environments

Handle biohazard disposal in accordance with OSHA and CNACC guidelines

Communicate any maintenance or safety concerns to site supervisors

Qualifications:

Prior janitorial experience in a medical or surgical facility is preferred

Certification in Perioperative Cleaning and CNACC (preferred or willing to train)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to follow detailed checklists and site-specific protocols

Must pass a background check and health screening
