Traveling Field Service Technician - Illinois

Base pay range

$23.00/hr - $24.00/hr

This role involves hands-on fieldwork supporting hospitals across Illinois with critical medical waste services. This is not a desk job — you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.

• Traveling across Illinois (95% travel) from the Western Chicago suburbs to the St. Louis area. Overnight stays required: 1x/month
• Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation
• Inspecting and servicing Danies Health containers in clinical areas — this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients
• Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day
• Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized
• Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team
• Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service
• Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic

• Someone who’s physically fit

• A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision
• Strong attention to detail — especially for paperwork and procedures
• Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel throughout Illinois
• A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role
• COVID-19 vaccination required due to hospital access
