Sr. Accountant

Description

Responsibilities

+ Record and post journal entries for daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions.

+ Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

+ Support month-end and year-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis; ensure intercompany accounts are properly reconciled and balanced.

+ Prepare and review financial statements and internal management reports.

+ Assist with annual audit processes by providing required schedules, supporting documentation, and explanations of variances.

+ Contribute to the preparation of periodic bank reporting and financial covenant calculations.

+ Provide analytical support and assist with forecasting activities.

+ Participate in system implementations, consolidated reporting processes, and accounting related to acquisitions.

+ Manage and reconcile fixed asset schedules, including tracking additions, disposals, and depreciation.

+ Ensure equipment and rental assets are recorded accurately and depreciated in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

Keys:

+ Accounting Degree

+ Multi-company accounting and consolidations

+ 5-7 years of experience is preferred. Want someone who wants to grow and develop

+ Previous "Senior" title preferred

+ Strong excel

+ Previous bank covenant/bank reporting experience is a nice plus
