Position: Spring 2027 Intern - Tax or Audit
The next step toward your career in accounting is to take what you have learned in the classroom and apply it to real-world situations that challenge you. DHJJ is looking for interns that are enthusiastic about enhancing their knowledge of the profession.

During your internship, you will work on a variety of engagements with talented professionals.

DHJJ interns will have the opportunity to work as a team member on diverse client engagements across multiple industries. Our services help move individuals and companies beyond simple compliance and on to overall strategy, and you will be a part of this process.

DHJJ was founded in 1974 and has since grown to over 100 employees at two locations, including experienced CPAs, tax preparation experts, and business consultants. At DHJJ, we are much more than an accounting firm. We exist to serve clients and help them reach their goals. Job Requirements

• Accounting major
• Strong academic credentials
• Proficient with Excel
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels
• Car may be required to travel to client site
• Able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week from January through April 15
• Some Saturday hours are encouraged

Responsibilities

• Tax interns will: prepare tax returns, perform tax and accounting research using various applications and tools; consult with management of businesses;
• Audit interns will: participate in the audit, review, and compilation of financial statements
