DESCRIPTION

This is a pool of applicants for any IT substitute, part-time hourly, temporary positions that may become available at Napa Valley College. Applications submitted to this temporary pool will be screened by the Office of Human Resources for minimum qualifications. These temporary positions are at-will employment.

Possible positions that may fall under this IT temporary pool are:

* IT Assistant ($18.10)

* IT Technician I - Help Desk ($19.74)

* Media Services Technician I ($17.30)

The job descriptions for each job title are:

* IT Assistant

* IT Technician I - The primary objective of this position is to perform first level help desk, secretarial and clerical, and procurement support for the Institutional Technology (IT) Department.

* Media Services Technician - The primary objective of this position is to maintain, troubleshoot and repair A/V equipment, including technologically advanced equipment used in "technology smart" classrooms; train and assist faculty and students in the use of "technology smart" instructional equipment.
