SummaryAlila Napa Valley is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to help lead front desk and guest services operations at our boutique luxury resort in the heart of Napa Valley.
Responsibilities- Assist in managing daily front office operations, including guest arrivals, departures, and room assignments.
- Supervise, train, and develop front desk colleagues to ensure consistent luxury service delivery.
- Oversee cash handling and ensure proper controls and reporting.
- Support scheduling and staffing needs to meet business levels and maintain efficient operations.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, resolving issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service.
- Monitor guest feedback and partner with leadership to drive service improvements.
- Uphold Hyatt and Alila standards of care, safety, and compliance.

- Minimum one year of front office supervisory experience luxury or boutique hotel experience strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and inspire a team.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in high‑volume or fast‑paced environments.
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (Opera experience a plus).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the property.
- Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Frequent use of computer systems, phones, and standard office equipment.
- Must be able to work indoors in a front‑of‑house environment with constant guest interaction.
