Overview

River Terrace Inn is a Napa River waterfront hotel with 114 rooms, a fitness center and home to the ALBA Restaurant. The RTI is located within walking distance of restaurants, the Culinary Institute of America, Oxbow Public Market, the Napa Valley Wine Train and many other attractions.

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing a welcoming first impression for guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and responding to guest inquiries. This role ensures excellent customer service, accurate billing, and smooth daily front desk operations while maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere.

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer and point-of-sale skills
• Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred experience with Marriott and Light Speed PMS and related software (Windows, Excel)
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Physical and work requirements: ability to stand and walk for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs if required; availability to work a flexible schedule based on hotel operational needs

Hourly position: $21 + incentives

We offer health benefits, paid vacation, Pay on Demand and a 401k savings plan eligible after 90 days of employment. Company match is currently 50 cents per dollar of employee contribution up to 6% and is subject to change. The match is effective on the first of the quarter following one year of employment. Employee Rate and Family & Friends Rate discounts are available at Noble House and Marriott properties.
