About Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley
Situated at the northern end of Napa Valley off the famed Silverado Trail, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley offers experiences that will capture the imagination of even the most seasoned wine country visitors.
The Position/Role
Spa Attendants and Concierges provide the highest level of customer service to ensure a smooth welcome and departure for all guests as well as maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout combined Spa and Fitness areas. Spa Attendants/Concierges respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and comfort. Spa Attendants/Concierge are ambassadors of Spa and Fitness area presentation and maintenance of cleanliness.
What You Will Do:
Set-up and maintain Spa and Fitness areas including refreshments.
Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests whenever possible; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with Spa and Fitness services.
Guide guests to their appointments as they relate to Spa and Fitness offerings.
Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies and amenities throughout the Spa and Fitness areas in order to maintain immaculate presentation of these items.
Maintain clean work areas in Spa Dispensary, Staff Room, and Spa Reception.
Enforce Spa and Fitness rules and regulations for all adult and junior guests.
Appropriately utilize reservation systems, maintenance records, and Guest Experience database as vehicles of communication to ensure guest satisfaction with all services provided in the Spa and Fitness areas.
Ensure compliance of daily and opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring all Spa and Fitness areas are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation and repair of all equipment.
Assist with retail space cleanliness and maintenance as needed.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Assist in answering product and treatment questions, as well as assist guests with use and set-up of Spa and Fitness Center space and equipment.
Ability to follow proper payroll procedures.
Ability to withstand a maximum of 120 degrees to maintain steam facilities and Spa Gardens.
Assist other staff with set-up and breakdown of their respective treatment areas (service providers, fitness instructors, etc.).
Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by management. To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Front Desk.
What you bring:
High School education or equivalent experience.
CPR, First Aid Certified preferred.
At least six months experience in a Luxury hospitality environment.
Previous experience within Housekeeping or Spa industry preferred.
Knowledge of Napa Valley and surrounding areas, highly desirable, however not required.
Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
