Overview

River Terrace Inn is ideally situated along the Napa River, near Oxbow Public Marketplace, the Culinary Institute of America, and downtown Napa. The inn offers inviting rooms and suites with river views and fireplaces, plus an on-site ALBA Bar & Cafe open daily for breakfast and evening small bites. The property includes three private rooms for banquets and catered events.

Come work and be part of the Alba / RTI (River Terrace Inn) team. The Napa River waterfront location includes 114 rooms, a fitness center, and is home to the ALBA Restaurant. The RTI is within walking distance of restaurants, the Culinary Institute of America, Oxbow Public Market, the Napa Valley Wine Train, and other attractions.

• Assist the Director of Engineering to keep all equipment in good repair with minimum downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance.
• Complete maintenance work orders from all departments in a timely manner by following hotel standard operating procedures.
• Continually work toward and support the improvement of engineering service to guests, other departments, and staff.

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role; hotel experience is preferred but not required.
• General tools and equipment knowledge.
• Ability to perform maintenance activities in guest rooms (e.g., plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing hardware, electrical equipment including lamps, HVAC and ducts).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information.
• Ability to ensure security of guest room access and hotel property.
• Ability to read and understand test equipment, measuring devices, and safety manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively and to work independently.
