Job Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for inpatient rehab with at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Responsibilities
• Position is based in an inpatient rehab unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, 9:00am–5:00pm
• Requires floating to other units within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals nearby
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Must be willing to work at least 2 out of the 3 major holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities in the state as determined by assignment needs
• Returning employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot submit if residing within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates are accepted at a lower rate due to the 50-mile radius rule
• Completion of non-billable onboarding modules is required prior to start and annually thereafter
• Requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of application; limited RTO allowed for auto-offer positions
Requirements
• Active and valid CA SLP license in hand (license required if applicable)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Ability and willingness to float between units and sister facilities as needed
• Minimum of two supervisory references covering at least one year of relevant employment in the last three years
• Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for compliance
