- Planning, organizing and controlling engineering activities, ensuring a high standard and excellent service;
- Coordinating and monitoring the entire workload of the Engineering colleagues, duly delegating tasks to each Assistant Engineering Manager on site as needed;
- Performing regular generation of forecasts, reports and statistics;
- Conducting regular site walks, overseeing daily tasks for compliance & legislation;
- Making incident reports for health & safety and security;
- Ensure diligent maintenance and certification of all building equipment, adhering to local legislative requirements;
- Implement and maintain control measures to guarantee equipment functionality and compliance standards;
- Play an integral role in achieving Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) targets within the organization;
- Monitor and optimize energy consumption strategies in alignment with ESG goals;
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of city-specific ESG requirements and regulations and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the organization's adherence to local ESG targets;
- Assisting team in their work as needed, carrying out repairs and maintenance works;
- Ensuring effective energy conservation measures in areas of operations;
- Ensuring fire, life and safety systems are operational, performing related emergency procedures;
- Diagnosing malfunctions in systems and components and rectifying defects;
- Participating in the selection and development of the Engineering colleagues in consultation with the Human Resources Department.

EXPERIENCE:
- At least two years’ experience as Engineering Manager, ideally in the Hospitality industry;
- A relevant university degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Facility Management;
- Excellent knowledge of the technical field and very familiar with Hotel specific challenges;
