Instructional Assistant Personal Care Positions Range 30 3.5 HPD Napa Junction Elementary School 4.5 HPD Middle School @ American Canyon Middle 4.5 HPD High School @ American Canyon Middle 4.5 HPD ADAPT Program @ American Canyon Middle 4.5 HPD IA Floater position, any and all sites 6.0 HPD Preschool @ Napa Junction Elementary School Availability of the position is dependent on student enrollment.
Requirements/ Qualifications
Internal Only:
Classes will be in session Thursday, June 11 through Thursday, July
9. School will not be in session on Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth) Friday, July 3rd. You must work the day before and day after the holiday in order to get paid for it. Questions, please contact . External applicants are required to complete the following requirements:

- Other (A pre-requisite for employment is proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test or 48 college units.)

This position may include classroom duties along with 1:1 duties. A pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District. Exceptions to taking the test are:
Possession of a current California Teaching Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, at least 48 units, or passing the CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test). If you do not meet any of these requirements or have not already taken the test you must do so prior to being employed. Please contact the Napa Valley Adult School, , for the next test date.
