Program Coordinator

Position: Program Coordinator
General
Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Club Leader, the Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and operating programming within a specific Club, working directly with groups of up to 20 members during the school day.
- Implement daily challenges and learning activities.
- Execute targeted enrichment programs that support English Language Learners and foster positive relationship building, problem‑solving, and social‑emotional development.
- Deliver programs and activities in the five core areas:
Academic Success, The Arts, Leadership & Service, Sports, and Health & Wellness. - Establish a strong relationship with school teachers.
- Foster strong relationships with members through role‑modeling and group management.
- Create an environment that facilitates achievement.
- Maintain enthusiasm and a positive attitude with youth and within the club community.
- Convey warmth, care, and proper guidance in ongoing interactions with members.
- Maintain consistent attendance to create stability for club members.
- Maintain a safe, clean, appealing environment and ensure member safety through proper supervision.
- Utilize trauma‑informed behavior management tools.
- Participate in daily and weekly club communication with co‑workers, supervisors, volunteers, and parents regarding member behavior and achievements.
- Encourage members to take responsibility for their behavior and reinforce high expectations at all times.
- 4+ ECE units (preferred).
- High school diploma (or higher).
- Age 18 or older.
- Prior experience in an early childhood setting (preferred).
- Microsoft Office (preferred).
- Mandatory negative TB test.
- Must pass Instructional Assistant Exam.
- Must provide own vehicle, have a valid state driver’s license and proof of auto insurance (preferred).
- Applicants must be able to successfully perform the essential physical functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
- Must have sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to supervise program activities.
