- Responsible for the successful coordination of landscape construction projects.

- Communicate with Oxbow team members in a timely manner. Return phone calls asap, reply to all emails within 24 hours, and texts within 4 hours.

- Submit timecards (on time) every week.
- Submit all project‑related material every week, i.e. invoices, and credit card receipts.
- Immediately document and alert the Superintendent, Safety Manager, and Human Resources to any unsafe working conditions or injuries.
- Immediately document and alert the Superintendent and HR manager to any behavioral or procedural issues with personnel.
- Review and comprehend project construction documents and planting plans.
- Review and comprehend cost estimates for construction projects.
- Review and comprehend contractual scope for construction projects.
- Review and evaluate existing site conditions before the commencement of construction.
- Evaluate planting plans for accuracy and horticultural suitability, minimizing plant failure and ensuring long‑term plant health.
- Communicate any issues or inaccuracies to all parties and collaborate with landscape architects, clients, and/or GCs to rectify them.
- Source and procure plant material at various nurseries. Request photos as necessary for submittal to landscape architects, clients, and GCs.
- Communicate with landscape architects, clients, and GCs for approval on tree specimens and feature plants.
- Collaborate with landscape architects, clients, and/or GCs to strategize any substitutions.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Coordinators for delivery of plant material to project sites.
- Schedule all plant and tree deliveries to project sites.
- Ensure crews are planting correctly to maximize plant health and longevity. Alert the Project Manager or Superintendent immediately if crews are not performing as instructed.
- Manage assisting horticulturalists and Interns as necessary.
- Alert management to any errors or inconsistencies found in construction documents and/or proposals.
- Immediately alert management to any unforeseen issues.
- Immediately alert management to any items not captured in proposals.
- Collaborate with management on means and methods for plant and tree installation.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction documents.
- Understanding of general construction sequences and assemblies.
- Proficient use of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, persistent, and willing to ask a lot of questions.
- Stand and sit for prolonged amounts of time.
- Walk, bend, kneel, and twist.
- Verbally communicate, talk and hear.
- Lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Finger and hand dexterity to feel, handle, and operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
