A unique opportunity has arisen for an Engineer to join the Boughey team in Wardle on a part time basis working 25 hours per week. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the packing equipment within our Co‑Packing department.

• Responsible for the maintenance and repairs on packing equipment.
• Supporting health & safety and quality standards by ensuring equipment and the surrounding environment is safe and up to standard.
• Helping with asset management, spares, and contractor support.
• Creating and updating key documents like risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Sharing your technical expertise with the team and supporting training.
• Playing a key part in continuous improvement projects.

• Engineering apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 – Level 2 would be considered with experience.
• Excellent understanding of health & safety and quality systems.
• Project management and problem‑solving experience.
• IT skills – SAP experience would be advantageous.
• Strong communicator both written and verbal with a positive attitude.
