Registered Nurse - Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified RN House Supervisor responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Patient Care Services. This position plays a key role in supporting patient care and nursing staff, especially during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays, while also working closely with the Admitting Office and other departments to ensure seamless hospital operations.

• Supervise and manage the operations of Patient Care Services during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Provide administrative and clinical support to the nursing staff in the absence of Clinical Nursing Leadership.
• Collaborate with various departments, including the Admitting Office, to ensure effective patient care.
• Facilitate patient care by interacting with nursing/patient care staff and other hospital departments.
• Ensure patient care is delivered effectively, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Ability to read tele strips, perform cardiac drips, and titrate medications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of staff and patients courteously and effectively.
• Leadership abilities and the capability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
• Proficiency in hospital software applications.
• Advanced clinical skills with strong decision-making capabilities.

• 2+ years of advanced Med/Surg Tele experience.
• Preferred:
  Critical care nursing experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of relevant healthcare experience, including progressive leadership responsibilities.

• Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.

• Required:
  
  Active and valid state RN license (in good standing).
• Required:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
