Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a MA RN license and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities- Position located in the Emergency Department serving a diverse island community
- Work schedule is 36 hours per week with rotating shifts
- Epic charting system is used in the department
- Patient population includes both year-round residents and a large seasonal influx
- Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
- Team provides comprehensive emergency care in a supportive environment
- Travelers must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for standard rates
- No religious or medical exemptions accepted for flu vaccine compliance
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Active MA RN license required; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience required
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required, preferably AHA
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Flu vaccine required without exemptions
