Job Summary

Clinical Nursing Supervisor – oversee patient flow, support nursing staff, respond to emergencies, and ensure seamless coordination across the hospital. Housing assistance and relocation support are available.

Essential Functions
  • Supervise patient care through verification of the nursing process and provide direction and guidance.
  • Ensure appropriate intervention in all situations, such as patient deterioration, disruptive behavior, equipment malfunctions, etc.
  • Serve as the off‑shift patient care representative and investigate patient or family complaints when required.
  • Conduct rounds and define expectations for accurate reporting, emphasizing high‑acuity patients.
  • Collaborate with support services, emergency, admitting, and clinical services to coordinate patient care or environmental needs.
  • Follow through to ensure patient needs and environmental and safety‑related issues are resolved.
Qualifications

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred;
Master's Degree Nursing preferred.

Licenses and Credentials
Massachusetts RN License required.

BLS, ACLS & PALS required.

Experience
Clinical nursing experience 5‑7 years required;
Lead nursing experience 2‑3 years required.
