About the role:

Are you a talented software engineer who’s excited to drive measurable business growth through technology? At Samsara, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Growth to help grow Samsara’s revenue by scaling our product-led, self-serve experiences across the customer lifecycle — from trials through purchases, expansions, and renewals.

In this role, you will partner closely with product, design, sales, marketing, finance, and other go-to-market teams to build intuitive experiences that help customers discover value, transact seamlessly, and continue to grow with Samsara over time. We value fullstack engineers who are curious about the business, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of delivering quickly without compromising long-term quality.

• Build customer-facing self-serve products from the ground up using a combination of custom frontends, Cloud applications, backend services, and scripts, etc.
• Collaborate with product, design, marketing, sales operations, finance and other GTM teams to implement growth initiatives.
• Leverage data to understand our customers and our funnel in depth, identify areas of opportunity and execute projects to drive revenue, customer growth, retention, and/or engagement.
• Drive engineering discussions and write thoughtful documentation and unit tests.
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in full-stack or growth-focused environments.
• Proficiency in front end development is a much needed skill for this role.
