The RoleThe primary role of this position is to help electricians by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools and cleaning work area and equipment. The right candidate will be eager to learn, be well organized, detail oriented and focused on the success of the team/company as a whole. The right candidate is curious, organized, detail‑obsessed (in a good way), and committed to team success.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Measure, cut, and pull wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter
- Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers
- Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools
- Perform semi‑skilled and unskilled labor duties related to the installation of a variety of electrical systems and equipment
- Strong ability to read and understand residential construction documents
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Fast learner with a proactive, team‑first mindset
- Strong communication skills—clear, honest, and professional
- Comfortable working in a high‑performance, accountability‑driven environment
- Install electrical panels
- A variety of troubleshooting
- Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical system
- Understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools and electronic test equipment
- Desire to innovate and create, willingness to stretch the limits of what’s been done before
- Willingness to implement processes, instructions, and strategies to improve our performance as a team
- Problem‑solving skills
- Experience in residential or commercial electric systems strongly desired
- Paid Time Off (PTO):
Starting at 10 days annually, increasing with tenure - Paid holidays and no night shifts
- Three‑Day Workweek:
