OverviewNampa Valley Heli-Services is a full-service FAA 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station (MRO) located in Nampa, Idaho. A subsidiary of Nampa Valley Helicopters and Heliwelders Canada, it provides inspection, maintenance, repair, and modification of Airbus Helicopters AS350, H125, EC130, H130, EC135;
Bell Helicopters 206B, 206L and 407 aircraft; and Bell Helicopter component overhaul. Nampa Valley Heli-Services is a drug‑free workplace. - Perform component overhauls, inspections, and repairs in accordance with approved data.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all applicable aviation regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including parts used, work performed, and inspections completed.
- Participate in training programs and stay current with industry advancements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and optimize maintenance procedures.
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license with no enforcement action.
- Extensive experience with Bell Helicopters 206 series / 407 series aircraft components.
- Experience in an FAA CFR 145 MRO setting.
- Experience with aircraft and component records.
- Bell Helicopter factory component school (preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Attention to detail and commitment to uphold highest safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and maintenance documentation.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including understanding, read, and write in English.
- Must be able to work legally within the United States.
- Willing and able to pass a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
- Ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol test.
- High level of mental alertness.
- Familiarity with FAA/EASA CFR 145 Repair Station requirements and operations.
- Must be able to lift 80 lbs (occasionally).
- Must be able to climb, stand on ladders / work platforms, bend, squat, crawl as required.
- M-F 8-5 work schedule / 40 hr week (overtime as required). Hangar / indoor working environment.
- Minimum education:
High school diploma or GED. - Physical requirements:
walk and lift up to 85 lbs repeatedly; assist with team lifts up to 150 lbs; stand long periods; perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting; climb stairs, ladders, work stands. - Must be able to work independently, manage time and duties.
