- Position: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care RN
- Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 10 beds
- Assignment Type: Travel nursing assignment
- Start Date: March 6, 2026
- End Date: June 5, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 pm – 7:00 am), every other weekend (may be needed more often)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800–$1890 per week
- Floating: May float to Telemetry in Nampa, and to Meridian and Boise ICUs as needed
- Orientation: 1–2 shifts, depending on experience
- Dress Code: Any color scrubs (clean and professional)
- Charting System: EPIC (electronic health record experience preferred)
- Active RN license (per agency/state requirements)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience as an ICU Nurse / Critical Care RN (first-time travel nurses welcome)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Experience titrating critical care drips (Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, Diltiazem)
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Comfortable floating to Telemetry and other ICUs in the Boise Metro area as needed
- Must live at least 50 miles from facility (per radius rule for travel assignments)
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 10-bed ICU as an ICU RN / Critical Care RN
- Manage patients with diagnoses including heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, GI bleeds, stroke, and post-surgical complications
- Titrate and monitor vasoactive and sedative drips; respond to hemodynamic changes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, intensivists (telehealth), respiratory therapists, and CNAs
- Float to Telemetry and other ICU units (Meridian, Boise) as needed to support patient care
- Participate in unit-based orientation and ongoing professional development for ICU nursing
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and support quality and safety initiatives
