Job Description

We are seeking skilled Electronics Soldering Tech to join our electronics manufacturing team. This role involves manual soldering of components on printed circuit boards, assembly tasks, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

As an Electronics Soldering Tech, you will:

  • Perform manual soldering of components in a PCB assembly environment.
  • Complete all required paperwork associated with assembly orders.
  • Adhere to company operating procedures and quality requirements.
  • Conduct surface-mount and through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards.
  • Trim, clip, and tin wires and leads.
  • Apply adhesives to plastic components and perform potting/sealing of completed work.
  • Properly label finished products.
  • Populate printed circuit boards with through-hole or secondary operation components.
  • Assemble parts into metal enclosures.
  • Follow internal assembly process documentation to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.
  • Solve routine problems encountered during assembly.
  • Interpret electronic and mechanical work instructions and drawings/schematics.
  • Solder under a microscope for fine-pitch components.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

  • Drug Test Required

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 12 years of professional experience working with electronics at the component level.
  • Ability to work in a clean, organized environment and follow ESD regulations.
  • Familiarity with soldering irons, hot air equipment, microscopes, multimeters, and standard assembly tools.
  • Strong soldering skills for fine-pitch SMT and through-hole components.
  • Component identification skills for unassembled parts.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and pass a skills test.
  • Detail-oriented with neat workmanship.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment performing product assembly.
  • Confidence in touch-up and hand soldering.

Pay Rate:$20.00
-$22.00 per hour depending on experience

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
