Position OverviewThe Warehouse Forklift Operator (Driver) supplies all departments with ingredients and packaging material and moves finished goods to the Distribution Center using a stand‑up forklift. Drivers also load and unload trailers and may need to pick up, move or manipulate product by hand. Strong written and verbal skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Move product safely to and from departments to meet production needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Stand all day and occasionally bend, stack, and move product by hand.
- Lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Able to manage high‑stress environment.
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- 6 months to a year of stand‑up forklift experience.
- Food industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of AS400, computer fundamentals, and strong math skills.
- Loading & handling skills.
- Spatial awareness and safety procedures knowledge.
- Inventory management experience.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, and stoop.
