From your PASSION to ours

The Warehouse Sanitation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the warehouse facility. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, managing waste disposal, and adhering to health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment.

• To do general cleaning daily as assigned and per a schedule. To include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, dusting, wiping/washing, and using cleaning chemicals.
• To operate a floor scrubber to clean, and a forklift to move items as needed.
• Needs to be willing to paint and improve overall general appearance of WH as needed.
• Help keep WH exterior clean. Pick up trash, move and organize WH areas and pallet storage.
• Help monitor storage trailer cleanliness and functionality as assigned.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Help keep locker room area clean and organized.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education

• High School diploma preferred but not required.

Experience

• 2 – 3 years’ experience in Warehousing and Warehouse environment preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a sanitation or janitorial role preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Specialized Knowledge

• Ability to multi-task cleaning projects and not be afraid to tackle difficult tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and move heavy objects.

Skills / Abilities

• Follow direction. Passion for cleaning.
• Safely operate forklift.
• Effective communication skills.
