At Wellspring Health and Rehab, we’re looking for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our Vent Team and help us improve lives—one breath at a time. Responsibilities- Delivering respiratory care therapies (oxygen, nebulizer treatments, inhalation therapy) based on physician orders.
- Managing ventilator and tracheotomy care, CPAP/BIPAP support, and other respiratory modalities.
- Assessing patient needs and developing care plans with clear, achievable respiratory goals.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to provide top-tier respiratory care.
- Educating staff, patients, and families about respiratory procedures and therapies.
- Documenting care clearly and accurately to comply with federal/state guidelines.
- Participating in diagnostic evaluations and collecting blood gas samples for analysis.
- Providing mentorship and clinical supervision to Respiratory Therapy Assistants (RTAs).
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- CRT or RRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- CPR Certification required.
- Associate or Bachelor s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related health sciences field preferred.
- New grads are encouraged to apply!
- Experience in ventilator and trach care in an LTACH, SNF, or hospital setting is a big plus.
- Previous work in a long-term care setting is helpful but not required.
- A compassionate caregiver with strong clinical skills.
- Someone who’s adaptable and ready to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- A patient-centered professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, long-term care regulations, and respiratory therapy best practices.
