Respiratory Therapist (RT)

At Wellspring Health and Rehab, we’re looking for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our Vent Team and help us improve lives—one breath at a time. Responsibilities
  • Delivering respiratory care therapies (oxygen, nebulizer treatments, inhalation therapy) based on physician orders.
  • Managing ventilator and tracheotomy care, CPAP/BIPAP support, and other respiratory modalities.
  • Assessing patient needs and developing care plans with clear, achievable respiratory goals.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to provide top-tier respiratory care.
  • Educating staff, patients, and families about respiratory procedures and therapies.
  • Documenting care clearly and accurately to comply with federal/state guidelines.
  • Participating in diagnostic evaluations and collecting blood gas samples for analysis.
  • Providing mentorship and clinical supervision to Respiratory Therapy Assistants (RTAs).
Education & Licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • CRT or RRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Associate or Bachelor s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related health sciences field preferred.
Experience
  • New grads are encouraged to apply!
  • Experience in ventilator and trach care in an LTACH, SNF, or hospital setting is a big plus.
  • Previous work in a long-term care setting is helpful but not required.
