Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

This is a full-time, on-site Controller role based in Nampa,  Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial operations, including preparing budgets, analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and providing insights for financial planning. Additionally, the Controller will work closely with management to create financial strategies and ensure the company's overall financial health.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Reconcile balance sheet
• Provide accounting and budget assistance to managers.
• Prepare and monitor department budgets.
• Prepare and process journal entries.
• Ensure company compliance with financial regulations.
• Perform financial reporting.
• Manage employee benefits program.
• Annual audit as well as periodic insurance audits
• Manage accounting team

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus
• 10 years' experience in similar accounting capacities
• Firm understanding of ERP systems and their operations/capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and while maintaining multiple deliverables and associated deadlines.
• GAAP: 5 years (Required)
• Strong accounting and financial management skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and general ledger management
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Experience in construction or site development industries is a strong advantage
• Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment
