We are looking for Bank Tellers/Customer Service Representatives for the Boise, . Tellers/Customer Service Representatives are responsible for accurately keeping records of cash currency and negotiable instruments, handling money transactions, and meeting the varying needs of our clients by providing exceptional service. The Teller/Customer Service Representative will be trained at the Sandpoint branch and then permanently assigned to a branch in Meridian, Nampa, or Boise,  and reliable attendance is essential.

Full‑time (37 hrs/wk). Must be available 8:15 AM–6:15 PM Mon–Fri and 9:00–12:00 PM Sat. Nights and all major holidays are off (paid). Minimum $17.50 + DOE. Apply now to join our team!!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receive checking and savings deposits, verify cash and endorsements, issue receipts.
  • Examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based on regulation requirements.
  • Process savings withdrawals, validate endorsements, verify identification.
  • Identify counterfeit currency.
  • Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements and privacy policies.
  • Cross‑sell bank products and services.
  • Refer customers to the proper department for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line.
  • Count and roll loose coins.
  • Issue personal money orders and cashier’s checks, accept orders and payment for U.S. Savings Bonds and sell American Express Travelers Checks.
  • Accept loan payments, verify payment amount, issue receipts.
  • Buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring teller drawer cash limits are not exceeded.
  • Ensure teller station is properly supplied.
  • Follow procedures for removing accounts for dormancy.
  • Balance drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks.
  • Process cash advances and redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
  • Maintain appropriate currency logs.
  • Follow all bank policies and procedures.
  • Perform other transactions as needed in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and OFAC.
About You REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of prior customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent technology acuity & computer systems knowledge.
  • Ability to efficiently use multiple computer programs and systems simultaneously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Jack Henry experience.
  • 6 months of prior cash handling experience.
  • Previous knowledge of MWB products and services.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in a climate‑controlled shared work area with a moderate noise level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds occasionally; sit and use hands for repetitive motions. Must be able to operate routine office equipment and work extended hours or travel off‑site if required. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
