Are you a skilled heavy equipment operator looking for a vital role in maintaining our city's infrastructure? The City of Nacogdoches Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Streets Division as an Equipment Operator II.

Operate heavy motorized equipment for street, drainage and alley maintenance, repair and construction. This includes equipment like backhoes, loaders, dozers, motor graders and dump trucks.

• Operate heavy motorized equipment.
• Assist in resurfacing and patching roads.
• Load and unload heavy materials (stone, gravel, asphalt).
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Work safely near high-speed traffic.
• Participate in the call-out crew rotation.

• Knowledge of maintenance and construction equipment operation.
• Ability to operate assigned equipment with skill and safety.
• Must possess a valid Class B Texas Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• High school diploma/GED and heavy equipment experience preferred.

Heavy work, lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally. Work outdoors in various conditions with exposure to fumes and loud noises.
