Job Summary

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as dictated by business needs.

Communicate proactively and regularly with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome.

Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain visual merchandise standards.

Perform store specific measurements.

Complete store layout initiatives.

Perform accurate cycle counts.

Complete Tractor Way top cap process.

Hang store signage.

Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs.

Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.

Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
Greet the Customer, Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.

Ensure the customer has a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.

Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required. Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Must be able to read, write and count accurately regardless of education level.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments independently.

Working Conditions

Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, possibly exceeding 8 hours.
Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often for extended periods.
Adherence to safety guidelines to promote a safe work environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to travel as needed.
Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders regularly.
Operate store equipment and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
Read, write, and communicate effectively.
Operate vehicles and equipment safely.
Perform physical activities throughout the shift.
