The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive nursing care by performing both direct and indirect patient care activities. The role ensures that patients’ physical, psychosocial, and general health needs are identified and met.

• Provides comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delivers health education, counseling, and promotes wellness and illness prevention.
• Supports communication needs of patients and families.
• Uses knowledge of cognitive, emotional, developmental, and behavioral disorders in care delivery.
• Performs crisis intervention as needed.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
• Adheres to established standards of patient care and maintains confidentiality of PHI.
• Completes additional duties as assigned to support the hospital’s mission and vision.
