Position Purpose

Physical therapists use exercises, massage, functional movement training and other techniques to help people injuries and illness recover movement, reduce pain, get stronger and more flexible, and perform day to day tasks.

Position Summary:

(not all inclusive)
  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy examinations using standardized tests and measures
  • Analyze clinical findings, diagnostics, labs, and medications to develop differential diagnoses and identify red flags
  • Determine patient prognosis based on physical, medical, and psychosocial factors
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care with measurable goals and discharge planning
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation per regulatory standards
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and in-home treatment options
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate and adjust treatment plans
  • Deliver patient-centered care with sensitivity to cultural, social, and individual differences
  • Administer physical therapy interventions, modalities, and equipment safely and effectively
  • Provide education to patients, caregivers, staff, and students using appropriate teaching methods
  • Participate in quality improvement and service delivery initiatives
  • Manage time, equipment, and resources efficiently within the practice setting
  • Promote injury prevention, ergonomics, and overall physical wellness
