Automotive Service Technician

Tipton Ford is seeking a Certified Ford Automotive Technician to join our growing team. While we prefer Ford certifications, we will consider technicians of all specialties- and certifications with other manufacturers may be transferable. • Perform repairs as specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including:
• Engine management
• Fuel systems
• Transmission
• Electrical systems
• Steering & suspension
• Alignment
• Brakes
• Air conditioning
• Perform multi-point inspections
• Test‑drive vehicles and use advanced diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding additional repair needs
• Provide accurate on‑time estimates for repairs
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Follow all shop safety policies and procedures
• Stay current with provided training and evolving vehicle technology

• Previous automotive repair and maintenance experience required
• Ford certification preferred (other manufacturer certifications considered)
• Dealership experience strongly preferred
• Must have your own set of tools
• Proficient with electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license required
