Restoration Technician

Position Overview:

The Restoration Technician is a key player in providing value-added solutions to our customers, ensuring a fair and equitable return to shareholders, and upholding the highest standards of truth, fairness, and integrity. This role is crucial in performing fire, water, and mold damage restoration, including dry outs, packing, cleaning, and debris removal.

• Perform fire, water, and mold damage restoration.
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment.
• Perform end-of-day job cleanup and breakdown.
• Maintain inventory and load the work vehicle with necessary equipment, products, and supplies.
• Demonstrate empathy and a sense of urgency in resolving customer problems.
• Work diligently and take pride in completing the job correctly every time.
• Transport equipment and other items between the warehouse and job sites.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding project status, updates, issues, or concerns.
• Be willing to work nights and weekends.

• Proven customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or college degree preferred.
• Construction experience preferred.
• IICRC/Restoration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of product usage, disposal requirements, and various pump systems.
• Eligibility to operate a motor vehicle per company policy.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• English language literacy and fluency.
• Water pumping and extraction;
  Mold remediation;
  Moving & re-setting contents;
  Setting drying equipment;
  Antimicrobial applications as appropriate;
  Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections;
  Maintaining vehicles in clean serviceable condition;
  Constructing polyethylene enclosures;
  Removing and disposing of debris;
  Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks;
  Additional other duties as required.

• Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time).
• Access and mobility in tight spaces.
• Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Ability to use mobile devices for collection of data and time.
