- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and providing product knowledge.
- Assure safety and compliance by practicing safe behaviors, reporting unsafe conditions, and protecting merchandise.
- Perform store operations such as receiving merchandise, merchandising, replenishing stock, and resetting the front end.
- Maintain cleanliness and merchandising per company best practices.
- Follow cash handling, register, and credit card procedures with accuracy.
- Represent Ross brand and uphold store appearance standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills for retail transactions.
- Friendly, respectful communication with customers and associates.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly; qualify for stockroom shifts.
- Reliability, teamwork, and a sense of urgency to meet store productivity goals.
- Stand and walk 100% of working time.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, and stoop as needed; up to 25 lbs for general tasks; 20 lbs for stockroom.
- Use of store equipment (registers, PTDs, PC) and janitorial tools.
