Sales Associate (Part-Time) – Coastal Grand Myrtle Beach, SC

A Part‑Time Sales Associate will drive selling efforts and customer relationships by excelling in customer service and sales techniques. Responsibilities include product merchandising, sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. The role requires strong customer service, sales, and teamwork.

• Display fashionable and trendy knowledge to satisfy customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise, maintaining DTLR standards, and building relationships.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic, outgoing impression to each customer, demonstrating enthusiasm toward the job and the company.
• Comply with all company policies.
• Embrace service training and product programs.
• Ensure visual standards are followed; daily restock is completed; adequate size runs are represented per visual directions.
• Assist in eliminating employee and customer theft.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
• Assist with store organization as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Excellent command of the English language to effectively communicate with management, customers, and colleagues.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem‑solving, analytical, detail‑orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service, accurate inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.

• Ability to stand for extended periods; lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases; work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation.
