• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
• Gather and return shopping carts to designated areas.
• Clean spills, pick up trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintain cleanliness.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
• Conduct price checks for cashiers and reinforce safety procedures.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and perform equipment inspections.
• Create a welcoming environment, answer customer questions, and support diverse customer needs.
• Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with integrity.
• Follow directions, seek assistance when needed, and perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
