• Some management experience preferred.
• Previous retail experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.

• Able to work well with others.

• Responsible for all store operations in the Store Leader’s absence, including Guest Service, Profit and Loss, Human Resources, and other functions.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Store Leader.
• Assist in maintaining store standards.
• Adhere to all Government ABC and Tobacco regulations.
• Reliable transportation for scheduled work times and deposits.
• Provide outstanding guest service and set a good example for employees.
• Report sales, cash, and operational discrepancies.
• Follow proper clocking procedures.
• Work with staff to achieve 100% on all Mystery Shops.

• Utilize suggested selling techniques.
• Maintain store equipment and cleanliness.
• Ensure shelves and displays are stocked and fronted.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.

The Assistant Store Leader will work three second shifts and two first shifts. Management will be present on both shifts, with the manager off on the two-day shifts, during which the assistant will handle all Store Leader responsibilities.
