Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.00 USD per hour

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
  • When guests need assistance, engage with them in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
  • Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events.
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
  • Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
  • Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
  • Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
  • Educate guests on using Target App features and Wallet; direct guests to enroll or activate Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering as needed.
  • Assist guests with returns following policy and timelines; escalate to Leaders as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area; manage unpurchased items, baskets and hangers for removal.
  • Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
  • Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) orders and DU returns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions; support cash office operations as needed.
  • Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance (frequently up to 10 pounds).
  • Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays); reliable attendance is essential.
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift; shift length may vary.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
