This position is responsible for providing hands‑on, person‑centered resident care, proper and timely administration of medications and treatments, accurate verbal and written reports, and rapid response to any emergency situations. Also provides consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity, offers in‑service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care, collects, analyzes and documents information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, and performs clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Current state licensure in good standing required.

• Performs professional and restorative nursing services which include, but not limited to, resident assessments, recording of vital signs, administering medications and treatments.
• Keeps timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports ensuring that quality care is provided.
• Interacts with the resident’s physician, pharmacist and medical personnel as needed.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as follows in the guidelines as outlined in the Resident Care Plan including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
• Participates in and attend all required in‑service training and education sessions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
