Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and families.
Qualifications- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Provider or Instructor through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider or Instructor through American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 12 months of hire
- One (1) year of experience in pediatric care or an intensive care setting
- Comprehensive medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health, and telemedicine services
