Under the general supervision of the Cardiovascular Service Line Administrator and/or Manager, the RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans.

Work in the cath lab and other cardiac care settings to provide critical, life‑saving nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Maintain patient safety, monitor vital signs, administer medication, and document all care provided in accordance with HCA Healthcare policies and local regulations.

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing:
  Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi‑State RN license.
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is required.
• 1 year critical care nursing or previous related experience.
